Meet Brandon, the owner and operater of Pisgah Tree Care.
Prior to starting Pisgah Tree Care, Brandon served in the United States Coast Guard for 7 years; stationed in various places from Alaska to California. After getting out of the Coast Guard he moved to North Carolina to pursue a degree in aviation management and a commercial pilots license. With a background in rock climbing he then found himself getting pulled in to doing tree work. It was during that time he discovered careers paths in wilderness therapy. That is when he moved to Asheville to receive his bachelors in Outdoor Leadership at Warren Wilson College. While attending WWC, Brandon continued doing tree work to support himself. After graduation he worked at a treatment center for young adults recovering from drug and alcohol addiction that was all wilderness based. It was during that time that he gained a deeper understanding for what nature truly had to offer us, along with an appreciation for a great variety of tree species in WNC.
After closing that chapter of his life and not knowing what to do next he found himself working full time for a local tree service. And in 2019 he decided to go out on his own and started Pisgah Tree Care.
"While I may cut down trees for a living I don't just cut them down to make a dollar. My hope is to preserve as many native species as possible while also keeping my customers goals in mind." -Brandon

Meet Libby, office administrator for
Pisgah Tree Care.
If you call, email, or request an estimate from Pisgah Tree Care, Libby is the person you’ll speak with. She stepped in to help manage the business side of operations with her husband, Brandon, about three years ago, taking over the scheduling, billing, and client communication so Brandon could focus on the fieldwork.
Before transitioning into the family business, Libby spent over 20 years as a pediatric dental assistant. Working for two decades in a dental office taught her the absolute value of clear communication, organization, and a stellar "bedside manner." She brings that exact same care, empathy, and patience to our customers today, ensuring that every homeowner feels comfortable, informed, and respected from the initial phone call to the final cleanup.
When she isn’t managing office operations or answering client emails, Libby is running their family household. Brandon and Libby have a son who keeps them incredibly active who much like his dad and is already completely fascinated by everything trees.
"Running a family business means treating our customers like neighbors, not numbers. We want the great experience to start from the moment you reach out to us! I look forward to getting to know you!" -Libby
